Did I Break The Law....?

Well my situation is this. I was racing a train on my motorcycle, and I beat it to the crossing all while not going over the speed limit. I started to skid a bit after putting on my breaks. One of the employees that saw me go across and reported it to the local police. To make a long story short the officer pulled me over shortly later and the matter is closed. I do not care that i was pulled over because I know racing trains is wrong. Now there are no gates at the crossing and no stop signs. So is there any law that I broke? I live in Ontario Canada, if it matters.
